Movie Time!

We went to our second ultrasound on friday, july 10th. The baby was 16 weeks, and is growing so fast. I can hardly recognize him from last time. 

This time we brought a crowd. My parents, sister, Aunt Lisa, and cousins Alex, Lucy and Isabell were there to cheer us on...

Our First Peek

On June 4, 2009, we got to take the first sneak peek at our baby. When the doctor started the ultrasound, our tiny little miracle immediately filled the screen. It was moving it's stubby little arms and legs so fast. We could make out the head, torso, feet and hands. It resembled a little gummy bear. It was an amazing experience for both of us. It was just Jose and I in the room. My eyes started to tear. From the moment I saw it, I was in love, and knew regardless of everything happening so unexpectedly, I wouldn't change anything at all. The main purpose was to determine the age of the baby. It turns out, it is 11 weeks on the dot, and due Christmas Eve!
